Dedicated Support for Republican Candidates: SNRW's Focused Mission as a PAC
About Us and Our Mission: SNRW is a Dedicated Political Action Committee (PAC). We are the sole Republican Women's Club operating as a PAC in Northern Nevada. Our approach is to maintain minimal expenditures, ensuring every fundraising dollar is used effectively. We prioritize substance over style, avoiding unnecessary expenses. SNRW does not allocate funds to charities, schools, children's clubs, or cover members' expenses for conventions. Our sole focus is on supporting Republican candidates. Committed to this mission, we ensure your contributions are used efficiently. Last year, SNRW contributed $18,000 to Republican candidates, a significant amount from a small rural county and a modest Republican Women's club. While we may be small in size, we are highly effective in electing Republicans and advancing the Republican presence in Nevada.

SNRW is an engaged and dynamic PAC. Hear from our Officers:
Presidents Message

I'm thrilled to share some updates, even though I missed our meeting on February 12th. I was at Carson Tahoe Hospital, where Mark underwent surgery for a new heart valve. We faced a few challenges, but I'm delighted to report that he's recovering well now! A massive thank you to all the wonderful well-wishers and those who sent their heartfelt prayers. I'm incredibly grateful to my board and the amazing members who stepped up and took charge, handling their regular duties and more. A special shoutout to our past president, Sondra Condron, and our 1st VP of Programs, Charlene Close, who did a phenomenal job planning and co-chairing the meeting. I heard it was a fantastic event! Kudos to Jann Fargnoli and Jan Muzzy, who co-chaired the Entrepreneur of the Year segment, dedicating months to finding our outstanding winners. Jann's enthusiasm for highlighting the value of our Republican businesswomen is truly inspiring. Thank you both for your dedication and thoroughness. I'm so excited to congratulate our winner, Teressa Bennis of Just a Drop of Herbal Essences, and our runner-up, Carol Drew of Restorative Massage. Both are incredible women and invaluable assets to our community. I can't wait to meet you both in the future!
First Vice President's Message

A group of Republican club members from Minden represented the SNRW at the NvFRW Winter Leadership Workshop. The Nevada Federation urged everyone to participate in Legislative Days next week. Remember to check the agenda flyer on page 3. The meeting was informative, featuring engaging conversations, fascinating women, and excellent food, all provided at no cost. We departed at 7 a.m. this morning, and despite the long drive to Sparks, it was definitely worth it. It has been a productive day. -Charlene TOP ROW FROM LEFT: LAUREN WELCH, KAREN BENNETT, CHARLENE CLOSE; BOTTOM: CECILE STUVE AND MARY LOU GERVIE. We proudly represented SNRW today at the NvFRW Northern Leadership Conference at the Sparks Nugget, Pacific conference room. A delightful continental breakfast was ready for us at 8 a.m., and lunch was elegantly served on white tablecloths at noon. Our own Kit Di Carlo from TPAction delivered the keynote speech after lunch. (I didn't stay until the end since we recently heard from Kit at our last Wednesday meeting, and I had an early start at 5:15 a.m.) Mary Beganyi, NvFRW President, discussed our Riches of Leadership and 500 Hats of Leadership before we moved into break-out sessions. That's where the real work happens. You gain leadership insights from other women in similar roles, sharing stories and ideas within the group. I have some fantastic ideas for future speakers.
